Afinta Assurance operates as an independent assurance organisation within the Afinta Group.  Governance arrangements are implemented to preserve impartiality, and confidentiality. Every engagement is accepted and delivered with full recognition of these principles, assuring clients and stakeholders with confidence in the integrity and objectivity of the outcomes produced.

Formal controls are applied to identify, assess and manage actual, potential and perceived conflicts of interest at personnel, project and organisational level. Impartiality risks are reviewed throughout opportunity development, project delivery and decision making, with appropriate mitigation measures implemented where required.

Assurance, inspection and certification decisions are made only by authorised personnel operating independently from consulting project delivery activities. These individuals are responsible for confirming that assessments have been conducted in accordance with Afinta processes, accreditation requirements and the principles of impartiality and technical integrity.
